1. Is the edible ink safe to consume?
Yes! Our edible inks are made with food-grade ingredients and are certified by FDA, HACCP, Halal, and Kosher standards. They are completely safe for both children and adults.
2. What printer models are compatible with your edible ink?
Our edible inks are designed specifically for Canon printers that use PGI-280/CLI-281 or similar cartridges. Please check your printer model on the product page or contact us for compatibility confirmation.
3. What’s the difference between frosting sheets and wafer paper?
Frosting (sugar) sheets are thicker, produce more vibrant images, and adhere better to cakes. Wafer paper is thinner and has a rougher texture. We only use premium frosting sheets for the best edible printing results.
4. How long is the shelf life of your edible ink?
When unopened and stored in a cool, dry place, our edible ink has a shelf life of 24 months. Once opened, we recommend using it within 6 months for best results.
5. Can I use edible ink and regular ink in the same printer?
No. Mixing edible ink with regular ink can contaminate the edible components and may be harmful. For safety, only use a dedicated printer for edible ink.
6. How do I clean the printer or print head?
We include a food-safe cleaning kit in our printer bundle. Regular cleaning every 1–2 weeks is recommended to maintain print quality and prevent clogs.
7. Do you ship within the U.S. only?
Yes. At the moment, we only ship within the United States. All orders are shipped from our U.S. warehouse with fast domestic delivery.
8. Can I use your edible pens on chocolate or fondant?
Yes! Our food coloring markers work well on dry surfaces like fondant, cookies, icing sheets, and even chocolate. Make sure the surface is not moist or oily for best results.
9. What if I receive a defective or leaking cartridge?
We test every cartridge individually before shipping. If your product arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days for a replacement or refund.
10. Are your products nut-free or allergen-friendly?
Yes. All of our edible ink and sheets are nut-free, gluten-free, and manufactured in an allergen-controlled facility.
